Heat shields come in many shapes, materials, and sizes. The Aluminum Inferno Heat Shield is constructed of aluminum with ceramic insulation. The aluminum heat shield is rated for 900 F continuous use.
Aluminum heat shields are flexible enough to bend around a pipe, air box, oil pan or to line a transmission tunnel. With the edges folded over, this allows the end user to customize the size and shape of the heat shield. Simply open the shield up, trim the inner insulation to your desired size and shape, then trim the outer shield layer to about 3/4” larger than needed.
Fasten or attach the Inferno Shield with Anchor Kit, stainless steel locking ties, screws, or a hose clamp.
